this isn't a problem with a new piercing but with an old one, my second lobe piercing on the right side, the past couple of days I've noticed it's
sore and it's swollen a bit, it's not red and theres nothing seeping out of it, should I take the labret stud out of it or leave it in?
I've had it done for years but only had the labret in for about 4-5 months. |

have you tried doing soaks etc? it could be you've just been sleeping on it funny. also check that no threads are showing on the labret bar and the ball is
on tight as this can irriatte the piercing. if the swelling is really bad, switching the bar out for a bigger piece of jewellery may also help relieve some
swelling

my original loobe piercing from many many yeas ago sometimes plays up if i have worn the wrong kinda jewlery in it for a bit too long or as keg said slept on
it funny, but i also once had a small small chip in a piece of jelery and it snagged the inside of the piercing adn caused it to swell slightly and be hot and
itchy.
when mine gives me grief i do warm soaks to settle it but i would suggest maybe taking the jewlery out and replacing it for seomthing you know isnt gunna give you any issues

This might sound silly, but are you cleaning it? It might be a good idea to use a quality cleaning solution for a few days. Ibuprofin can also help with
swelling if you don't have issues with Ibuprofin.
