Okay, I just got my tragus done when I was home in ireland for a week, it's about 4 days old. I'm taking care of it with sea salt and water just as my
piercer told me to. But whenever I clean it, it is ridiculously painful. I don't want to sound ignorant, but when I got the top of my ear done it
didn't hurt half as much to clean it. Is it normal to be so sore? There are no signs of infection, it doesn't go red or anything, but I don't want
it to develop into something I can't handle. Also, I changed the stud on the top of my ear to a ring, and it's a little sore too. I'd rather avoid
seeing a piercer here(holland/germany) because it's very expensive. Any information is really, really appreciated, I hope to +#$! I'm only being a baby
about it!

the tragus is a pretty thick bit of cartilage, a lot thicker than the top of the ear so it's natural for it to hurt more. cartilage is always a lot more
painful than just flesh tissue. nothing sounds of the ordinary from your post. just continue with the aftercare. the top of your ear will probably benefit from
some hot soaks after the jewellery change too.
