ya.
So I have been contemplating an upper orbital piercing. In part because I think it would be damn cool, in part because I want to test myself, and in part at the bequest of my dear twisted wife.
So.... What should I expect. I have nothing to compare it to, but how is the pain compared to a normal piercing?
And more importantly, once the piercing is done, how does the "cuff" (not sure of proper terminology) feel on the ear? how comfortable is it.
Anyways, ya. That is my intro of sorts.
PS:
The wife has piercings and tats.... cant let her continue to one up me in that department.
PPS:
If you have seen August Rush, the piercing is the one that Robin Williams had.... or at least one of them.... a ring that sort of hugs the whole side of the upper ear, and the piercing would be close to the head... if that makes sense...
EDIT:
Ok.... so apparently I got the naming wrong.
What I want is not an orbital... I have no idea what I want.

A Conch is sort of what I want, except I want it in the... indent above that.
I want my ring to be less a ring and more of a cuff.
Only one piercing, in the hard cartilage of your ear.
I want the cuff to go right across the... lip or orbital part of the ear.
So the ring would be less of a circular ring and more of an oval...

Sort of like that, except the piercing would be down and in further on the hard part of the cartilage.
