Help/ideas to remove an unscrewable tongue stud? |

I have been asked to remove my tongue stud for work but have had it for ten years and have never undone it. It therefore appears to be unscrewable! Does
anyone have any ideas for how I can get it out please? I have been into a piercing place to ask them but they were pretty unwilling to touch it because they
hadn't done it in the first place. Will it just be a case of continuing to try myself, or anyone one got any ideas?

only thing i can suggest is using rubber gloves and see if someone else will have a go. is there no other studio nearby?
